Dramatic Home Office

Project Overview:

The biggest challenge for this client was the desk and chair. The husband is very tall and needed a desk chair combo that would be comfortable for him and a large desk with lots of work space. Since this room was at the front of the house, it was important that the room show well. Lastly, functional black out draperies were a must for the lifestyle needs of this client.

The interior designers were so excited to find a large comfortable desk chair with a low seat height to ensure the client did not sit too high with the standard height oversized modern desk. Two comfortable guest chairs with a small drink table were included. The design was anchored with a modern rug and contemporary functional draperies. A new modern light fixture and dramatic art piece created interest. The bookshelves were styled with unique pieces and personal family photos.
