Restful Master Suite

Project Overview:

This romantic master bedroom is inspired by the curves and glow of the chandelier, while antique mirrors balance and add weight to the bedside areas. The friendly blues and beige of the fabrics are soothing and work well with the gray walls, upholstered pieces, and wood accents. The client felt the master bedroom was dark with a problematic layout. She requested additional storage and that the adjacent sitting room be made to feel part of the master bedroom suite. The walls were lightened with Benjamin Moore’s Bone Black and dark pieces such as the antique mirrors and chandelier supply contrast. Opposite the bed, two armoires were added for additional storage with a large gray velvet ottoman for seating and a touch of romance.
